Aihua Foreign Exchange Classroom: Identifying the Bottom Reversal Signal from the Star Line Pattern
The star line, also known as the tombstone line, as the name implies, represents the end of a trend and is one of the six basic K-line forms commonly found in technical analysis (the other five are hanging, pregnant, bald, and tower). The K-line entity of the star line is very small or completely absent, but has obvious upper and lower shadows. According toAihuaAccording to the analysis data of the foreign exchange trading platform, the star line can be divided into the morning star and the evening star. This article focuses on the morning star.
The morning star is like the morning star that appears in the eastern sky at dawn, symbolizing the beginning of a new day. This pattern appears at the end of a falling market, often indicating that the decline is about to end and the rising market is about to start. It consists of a star line and a subsequent positive line. It is usually difficult to confirm the formation of the bottom by the appearance of the star line alone, and it is more reliable to need the positive line of the next day to verify. For example, after the star line appeared in Kaidi Power's stock, the positive line of the volume appeared immediately the next day, thus starting a round of rising market; while TBEA also appeared in the process of falling, but the positive line was not confirmed the next day, so the stock price continued to decline.
Of course, the understanding of starlines cannot stop at the above level. According to years of research in the Aihua Trading Class, the credibility of starlines that appear in the following situations will be significantly improved.
First, when the star line appears in the case of a low jump, its credibility is higher. The low jump is the concentrated release of the air force, which is bound to consume a lot of short energy. In addition, the star line has long upper and lower shadows, indicating that the air side encounters tenacious resistance from many parties, and the parties may regain control of the situation at any time.
Second, the longer the shadow and the smaller the K-line entity, the more reliable it is. This pattern, also known as a long doji, is a variant of the star line. It reflects the intense competition between the long and short sides, usually accompanied by large trading volume.
Third, star lines appear near important band lows or key support levels. Band lows can be anticipated through morphological analysis or wave theory, while important supports can be delineated using tools such as trend lines.
The above situation is for general reference only, and it must not be copied in practical applications. You should learn to draw inferences from one example. Starting from the basic principle of star line formation, other bottom signals can also be derived, such as T-shape, inverted T-shape, hammer shape, inverted hammer shape, etc. These are the evolutionary forms of star lines. Aihua Trading Class recommends that investors make comprehensive judgments in combination with other technical indicators to improve the success rate of operations.
