What is a position
What is a position? A position is a professional term for the financial system to allocate available funds. Each bank or securities industry has its own fund position.

In foreign currency trading, "opening a position" means opening. Open, also known as exposure, is the act of buying one currency and selling another at the same time. After opening, one currency is long (long) and another currency is short (short). Choosing the appropriate exchange rate level and timing to open a position is a prerequisite for profit. If the market entry time is good, the opportunity to profit is greater; conversely, if the market entry time is not right, it is prone to losses. Net position refers to the trading difference between one currency and another currency obtained after the opening.
