Forex speculation also depends on the moving average
The following are three main moving averages for investors of all kinds.
(1) Short-term average line. 3-day average line: This line fluctuates with the exchange rate of the day, distorts obviously, is extremely irregular, and it is difficult to find its pattern. 5-day average line: Because there are 5 trading days per week, it is a common reference line for short-term customers to pay attention to whether this line can cross or cross the 10-day line. 10-day average line: This line is widely used, it can effectively reflect the changes and trends of the average cost of the exchange rate, and can be used as a reference for short-term buying and buying. 15-day average line: Commonly known as the half-moon line, there are few investors who use this line.
(2) Medium-term moving average. 25-day line: This line is more efficient, and some investors and institutions in Europe prefer to use this line. 30-day line: This moving average is used in conjunction with other averages, allowing investors to refer to the dynamics of the exchange rate on that day and the short-term and medium-term and long-term averages, and understand the correlation between them. Eastern investors prefer to use this line. 37-day line: Calculation and review are very inconvenient and can only be used as a reference. 8-week, 10-week line: American investors and institutions prefer to use these two moving averages to explain the trend of exchange rate changes in the medium and long term. The 60-day line and the 75-day line: commonly known as the quarterly line, these two lines can reflect the characteristics of the moving average, sample reasonably, be more realistic, and can reliably reflect the trend of the exchange rate.
(3) Long-term averages, mainly for long-term operation for reference, are divided into 150-day lines (semi-annual lines), 200-day lines, and 295-day lines (annual lines). There are also longer averages, but considering that the time is too long, the sample is too large, the validity is too low, and the reference significance is lost.
