But a good broker and a good trading platform are just one part of what makes your Forex trading career profitable. You need to have the right knowledge and skills to more accurately predict what the market will do nextforeign exchange marketOne technique of behavior is Bollinger Bands.
Bollinger bands, known as technical trading instruments, are widely used in capital markets (including foreign exchange) and were invented by John Bollinger in the early 1980s. This technology was based on the need to accommodate trading values and the discovery that market fluctuations were dynamic phenomena rather than static states as believed at the time.
Bollinger Bands consist of three charts of curves that are related to the price of a currency pair. The line located in the middle is a measure of the medium-term trend, usually a simple moving average, and is the basis for the rising and falling curves. The interval between the rising, falling, and middle curves determines the volatility of the market, and usually the standard deviation of the same data is used for the moving average. The default parameter is 20 cycles, with two standard deviations above and below the middle curve; of course it can be adjusted to meet your needs.
In simple terms, the purpose of Bollinger Bands is to provide a correlation between high and low prices. This correlation can be used by Forex traders to compare price action and is a very useful indicator, especially when traders require more rigorous buying and selling decisions.
