Do not create a new order in the end point trading bar

In the early part of December, I was busy with other affairs and rarely traded, but a limited number of operations resulted in a large proportion of losses. The losses were not due to poor judgment or failure to control risk, but due to technical errors in operation.

Last month, I advised accounts with less capital not to trade the A50 index.hycmforeign exchangeBut I myself made a mistake and traded heavily on the A50 index in a trading account with very little funds!

The reason for this mistake is to create a new order in the end point trading column, which should have traded A, but ended up trading B.

I was going to trade sterling, but I accidentally traded the Standard 500 Index. The reality at the time was that I was going to trade 5 lots of sterling, but ended up trading 5 lots of A50 index! Since I only had more than $900 in my account, after losing more than $200, I had to cry position squaring. Position squaring will Murphy's Law happen immediately:If something goes wrong, no matter how unlikely it is, it will happenIf I die, I'll make over $500 the next day!

Why should I create a new order in the end point trading column? Because I was holding several orders at that time, I always wanted to see how much profit and loss I was making, and then directly right-clicked on the original order (5 micro lots of pounds sterling empty) - "New order". Some people may ask, how did 0.05 become 5? This is another reason. I am trading on the micro account of XM, and trading 5 micro lots of pounds sterling is only equivalent to 0.05 standard lots. As the Australian dollar order above, the trading volume is actually short 0.01 standard lots of Australian dollars against the US dollar, and the minimum trading volume of the index is 1 standard lot! When I thought the new order was 5 micro lots of pounds sterling, it was actually 5 standard lots of A50 index.

Therefore, it is best not to create a new order in the end point trading column. Even if you "right-click" - "trade" - "new order" on the main chart, you have to check whether you have correctly selected the object you plan to trade. For example, you originally planned to trade EUR/USD, but accidentally created a new order on the main chart of GBP, resulting in a trade in GBP. In short, the transaction must be meticulous and cannot be sloppy.
