    Trends and channels in trading

Here are some important things to keep in mind about trend lines:

It takes at least two tops or one bottom to draw a valid trend line, but it takes three points to confirm the trend line.

In the steep trend line drawn, the less reliable it is, the more likely it is to break.

Just as with support and resistance levels, the more times the trend line is tested, the stronger it is.

More importantly, never draw trend lines by forcing them to adapt to the market. If they don't fit, the trend line won't be effective.

To understand this trend line theory further, and to draw parallel lines at the same angle of an uptrend or a downtrend, we create a channel. Of course, we're not talking about "entertainment and sports, TV and ABC, or Cartoon Network."

Still, that doesn't mean you should walk away as if you're taking a break during commercial breaks - the aisle is as excited as seeing a new American supermodel or crew!

A channel is just another tool used in technical analysis to buy or sell a selected good environment. Both the top and bottom of the channel represent potential areas of support or resistance.

To build an upward channel, just draw parallel lines at the same angle as the uptrend line, then move the line so that it touches the nearest peak. At the same time, you create the trend line.

To build a downward channel, just draw parallel lines as a downtrend line at the same angle, then move the line so that it touches the nearest trough. At the same time, you create a trend line.

When the price reaches the bottom of the trend line, this can be used as a buying area.

When the price reaches a higher trend line, this can be used as a sales area.

Important things to keep in mind about trend lines:

When outlining a channel, the two trend lines must be parallel to each other.

Usually, the bottom of the channel is the long area, while the top is the short area.

Like a trendline, never impose a price on the channel you draw. If the edge of the channel is tilted at one angle and the corresponding edge is tilted at another angle, then it is wrong and may lead to a failed trade.
